 🌺Dialogue simple present 

Kristen: Hey, Stewart, what do you think of this English assignment? (Hei, Stewart, gimana menurutmu soal tugas bahasa Inggris ini?)

Stewart: Do you mean writing paper on the poem interpretation? (Maksudmu tentang menulis makalah interpretasi puisi itu?)

Kristen: Yeah, gosh, I hate this kind of assignment. I can never get poetry. (Iya, ya ampun, aku benci sekali dengan tugas semacam ini. Aku nggak pernah paham dengan puisi.)

Stewart: Oh, Kristen, you need to dig deep. Get in touch with your soul. (Oh, Kristen, kamu harus menggalinya sedikit lebih dalam. Kamu harus bersentuhan dengan jiwamu.)

Kristen: Shut it, Stewart. Ah, what am I going to do? Can I just copy your paper later? (Diem, deh, Stewart. Aduh, aku harus ngapain, nih? Boleh nggak kalau aku nyalin makalahmu aja nanti?)

Stewart: Of course, for Rp250.000. (Boleh aja, seharga Rp250.000).

Kristen: Gee, no, thank you. I’ll write the paper myself. (Duh, nggak deh, makasih. Aku bakal nulis makalah itu sendiri deh.)

Stewart: Hahaha. Well, I can help you disecting the poem first, so you can understand it a little bit better, and then you can try to write the paper yourself. (Hahaha. Dad: What is going on here? Why everything is a mess? (Ada apa ini? Kenapa semuanya berantakan?)

Andi: I am building a castle, Dad. (Aku sedang membangun kastil, Papa.)

Dad: With pillows and sheet? Do you need help? (Pakai bantal dan sprei? Butuh bantuan?)

Andi: Yes! (Iya!)

Dad: What kind of castle is this? (Kastil macam apa ini?)

Andi: It’s a castle for my family. I’m building it for my princess. She is staying with her mom while I’m finishing our house. (Ini kastil buat keluargaku. Aku sedang membangun kastil untuk putriku. Ia tinggal dengan ibunya selama aku menyelesaikan kastil ini.)

Dad: Oh, do I know this princess of yours? Have I met her? (Oh, Papa tahu nggak dengan putrimu ini? Papa pernah ketemu?)

Andi: I don’t think so. She’s my new classmate. (Kurasa nggak. Dia teman baruku di kelas.)

Dad: Oh, okay. Well, Andi, I’m thinking of making a room for your mother and I in this castle of yours. Can I do that? (Oh, oke. Andi, Papa sedang kepikiran untuk membuat satu kamar untuk mama dan papa di kastilmu ini. Bisa nggak Papa membangunnya?)
